OUR SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Our company operates in the hospitality sector in world and Turkish tourism. We aim to integrate sustainability into our current activities and future investments by evaluating environmental, social and corporate governance practices. In line with the increasing world population and demands, we adopt a sustainable development approach that explores conscious consumption methods and alternative resources that ensure the protection of natural resources.

Our sustainability policy forms the basis of our company activities. It is included in our business model to be implemented at every level, from our board of directors to all our departments. We are aware of our responsibility to the UN Sustainable Development Goals against global problems such as climate change, poverty, hunger, inequalities, water scarcity and loss of biodiversity.

We aim to increase living standards and welfare by expanding our investments. We prioritise promoting sustainable development in our operations and decision-making processes. We are aware of our impact on ecological, economic and social dimensions and we are determined to focus on the following Sustainable Development Goals until 2030 and shape our activities accordingly:

  • Energy efficiency: We offer production and services that respect human health, biodiversity and environmental resources by investing in technologies that consume less energy. We integrate innovative technologies into our projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and our carbon footprint. Within the framework of the European Green Deal, we work to reduce waste, use resources efficiently, and recover chemicals and energy.
  • Sustainability Committee: With the active participation of our Board of Directors, our Sustainability Committee raises awareness on sustainable practices, analyses and reports on issues that conflict with our policies. We set short, medium and long-term sustainability targets and make improvements.
  • Reporting and Improvement: In our reports, we evaluate the positive and negative results of our activities through internal and external audits and take improvement actions. We develop studies that support social, environmental and economic improvements and respond to the needs of our stakeholders in the best way possible by applying national and international standards.
  • Environmental and Social Management: In line with our environmental and social management plans, we take actions in areas such as Waste and Wastewater Management, Cultural Heritage, Environmental and Social Emergencies, Internal and External Complaints, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Stakeholder Engagement, Training and Water Resources Management. Within the scope of environmental management systems, we evaluate carbon emissions, energy and water consumption through EIA and independent environmental audits and set continuous improvement targets.
  • Waste Management: In waste management, our primary goal is to reduce the amount of waste at the source, and we separate the waste produced according to their types.
  • Stakeholder Participation: We provide transparent and open communication channels with local governments, ministries, NGOs, media, local communities, universities, suppliers, consumers and our employees. We monitor consumer satisfaction and loyalty and encourage our employees to increase their competences by investing in their training and development.

Our Sustainability Policy is carried out in an integrated manner with our company's environmental, social and other corporate policies. Our management is committed to fulfil the requirements set out in this policy and we expect all our employees to fulfil the same commitments.
